BIBI

Business Intelligence for the Building Industry

BIBI shapes the backbone of several of the largest quarries in South Africa. The software has been designed and fine-tuned for optimal performance in conjunction with these companies, greatly reducing the time that a load spends on the weighbridge. Field trials have yielded positive results, with outcomes of over 700 tons of aggregate being accurately dispatched within thirty minutes.

RITA

Remote Information Transfer Agent

RITA is an automatic document scanning and data transfer agent for printed documents. The software is designed to remotely scan, compress, validate and auto-file printed documents in PIC and BIBI.

Automated Document Scanning

RITA automatically scans batches of printed documents and creates high resolution digital copies of these documents

Automated POD Process

When a delivery note is scanned via RITA, the transaction linked to that delivery will automatically be POD'ed. And the changes synchronized with the accounting package.

Digital Document Warehousing

After the digital copy of a scanned document has been uploaded to the server, these digitized copies are then imported into a database.

Document Status Feedback

All the documents in the system still requiring a POD to be done will be listed in RITA, along with those who have already been scanned and POD'ed.

Document Compression

Using a combination of technologies, RITA ensures the smallest footprint of scanned documents while still maintaining a very high degree of readability within these digital documents.

Optimized Data Transfer

Due to the small footprint of scanned documents, transferring data to and from the servers is a fast and lightweight process.

Our History

In 2003 Global Technology & Accounting Services (Pty) Ltd. founded Cornerstone Software purely for the development of business specific software. With many accounting packages being used in various sectors of commerce the specific business needs in dispatching and other business divisions was not catered for. Development then started on our flagship package called BIBI (Business Intelligence for the Building Industry).

Due to the phenomenal growth in the building and construction industry, the need for a system to handle the demand for the supply of aggregates has become apparent. Such a system will have to accommodate the ever growing needs and demands on the suppliers of aggregates. The system must address a wide range of functions and provide much needed capabilities in a multi-faceted environment.
